Car Show to benefit Cole Sydnor. Cole Sydnor is a 16yr old student at Atlee High School and over the summer was in a diving accident in which he broke his neck and is now a Quadriplegic. Show is located at Atlee High School. Registration starts at 9am and ends at 11:30am. Show judging begins at 12pm and awards will be given out at 3pm. Registration Fee: $20.00. Activites include: Door Prizes, Hot Wing Eating Contest, Tug of war, Musical Chairs, Live Music, Food, Drinks, & More... Presented by: Animated Attractions (NC's Longest Running Car & Truck Club). Location: Pitt County Fairgrounds, Greenville, NC. This is the longest running Modern Custom show in North Carolina with this year being the 19th annual. This year we are bringing something new to the table by opening up "Casino Night" on Saturday night. This will be the time to come in and play whatever game fits you and hang out with friends and listen to some good music. Its gonna be a feel good time, even if you aren't playing. Just a good time to hang out. And what goes along with a Vegas style show...bright floresent neons. So we are gonna have a neon.LED light show right outside the nighttime activities. Friday we will be opening registration at noon and it will go all the way through the night...as it has almost every year we have put this show on. Saturday is the time to shine up those rides and get ready for the judges. It is also a great time to bring your kids out to enjoy the activities. Sunday around noon we start off with Sunday Hangover Games for all the clubs that partied waaay too much the night before. Followed by a hydro hop off and a massive burnout contest. This year we are bringing some Rock to Freak Show ...we are introducing a Battle of the Band going on throughout the day and a local legendary band headlining the show.We want to bring something different to The Freak in 2012 so be prepared to "Rock Out With Your Drop Out". Last year we created something new with Freak Show...we announced 6 of the year awards--Truck, Mini Truck, Car, Compact, SUV & Lowrider of the Year. Team Absolute's Most Improved Ride 2012 - Your vote will be given to the President at the last meeting in November, votes will be counted, and the winner will receive a trophy at the following meeting along with the other Team Absolute awards. Rules: Must have a club logo on your car to be eligible for any Team Absolute trophy.
Team Absolute's Fastest Ride 2012 - All time slips for your fastest track run will need to be given to the President at the last meeting in November for comparison by this time. The Winner will receive a trophy the following car club meeting. (Must have a club logo on your car to be eligible.)
Team Absolute's Best Participation 2012 -
Rules for the Best Team Absolute Participation 2012 are as follows: Each member with a club logo displayed on their car will have their attendance recorded for Car
Shows and Car Club meetings all year long. Car shows are worth 3 Points with a registered vehicle and 1 Point without a registered vehicle. Car Club meetings are worth 1 Point, Bonus points also awarded (see message board for more details on this). They will be tallied up and
the winner receives the trophy (February - November attendance only). This trophy will be the largest trophy awarded to the winner. President and Vice President are not eligible.
