Happy New Year everyone! Team Absolute is back and ready for our 10th consecutive year. Our first meeting of the 2011 Car Show Season will take place on Saturday, February 11th at 8 PM. We are currently looking for dedicated members to expand our family, take a look at what we are all about by viewing our "Club info" section. Brett - 09/18/2011 - Car Show - Sacrifice: Children of Fallen Soldiers
Team Absolute attended the Sacrifice: Children of Fallen Soldiers Car Show hosted by Low Lyfe Kustoms and Shenandoah Harley Davidson in Staunton, VA. 100% of Sacrifice proceeds were donated to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. Team Absolute has the highest respect for our military and their families. We wish to honor all the sacrifices made on their behalf. In the car show scene, we won Best Club Participation. Frank took home Best of Show and 1st Place Domestic. Dan took home 1st Place Import. Special thanks goes out to our newest prospect Paul for coming out to support us.
Brett - 09/05/2011 - Car Show - Hot Summer Nights
Team Absolute attended Hot Summer Nights, hosted by Exquisite Car & Truck Club, last night. We won most of the club games and narrowly missed coming home with the Best Club Participation trophy. Congrats to Dan & Frank for placing in the Top 10, and Frank again for 3rd Place Best Engine. We will definitely be back next year. Special thanks to John and Shane for coming out to support us.
Brett - 06/17/2011 - Car Show - 10th Annual OC Car Show
Team Absolute attended the 10th Annual OC Car Show in Ocean City, MD this past weekend. It was about a four and half hour drive from Richmond but well worth it. The OC Car Show is known as "East Coast Nationals", one of the largest events on the east coast. The cars were amazing & the atmosphere was fantastic. We will definitely be back next year. Congrats to Dan for winning 2nd Place in his class. A special thanks goes out to Mike and his Dad for coming out to support us. Brett - 06/05/2011 - Car Show - 1st Annual Cruise In for Cancer
Team Absolute attended the 1st Annual Cruise In for Cancer in Colonial Heights, VA. Thanks to all members who came out yesterday to support the good cause. Congrats to Dan and Frank for placing in the Top 20.

Brett - 04/18/2011 - Car Show - Spring Showdown
Team Absolute attended the 6th Annual Spring Showdown hosted by Diversified Ridez and East Coast Dynasty in Buena Vista, Virginia this past weekend. This was the 3rd time Team Absolute has attended this event. The host clubs put on a very entertaining show and everyone had a great time, despite the unfortunate inclement weather that swept through on Saturday. The car show’s name “Spring Showdown” stayed true to its meaning with an action packed weekend of competitive club games. Our constant determination and perseverance allowed for Team Absolute to be crowned as the 2011 Spring Showdown Club Participation Winners. In addition to the points accrued by winning club games, we also received points for the amount of members registered at the show and for each trophy won in the car show competition. Team Absolute placed in the following classes: Dan won 1st place Nissan and The Best Interior specialty award, Steve won 1st place Honda Civic, Billy won 2nd place Honda Civic, Lee won 2nd place DSM, and our newest prospect Frank took home 2nd place Domestic Other. We would like to give a special thanks to Frank and Kevin for coming out to support the team. Team Absolute will definitely be back again next year to defend our title!
Brett - 04/04/2011 - Car Show - Slamesssion
Team Absolute attended the 18th Annual Slammsession hosted by Animated Attractions in Greenville, NC this past weekend. As always, it was a great show and we had a lot of fun competing in the club games. Congrats to all of our members who placed in their classes. Brett won 3rd Place Mitsubishi Eclipse Mild, Lee won 1st Place Mitsubishi Mild, Steve won 3rd Place Honda Civic 95-Down Mild, Billy won 2nd Place Honda Civic 95-Down Mild, and Dan won 2nd Place Nissan Sport Mild. Brett - 02/20/2011 - Car Show - Winter Cruize Tour 11 Stop #6.5
Team Absolute attended DropJaw's Winter Cruize Tour 11 Stop #6.5 on Saturday. It was held at Quaker Steak and Lube on Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia. Brett placed 1st in Mitsubishi, Dan placed 1st in Foreign Compact, Billy placed 1st in Honda, and our latest prospect Billy with his F250 placed 2nd in Full Size Truck. Brett - 09/14/2010 - Car Show - DropJaw: The Ultimate Show
Team Absolute attended The Ultimate Show at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia on Saturday, September 11th. Team Absolute took home the "Largest Club" award. Congrats goes out to Matt who won 1st Place Domestic Full Size, Dan who took home 2nd Place All Foreign Sport Compact, and Shami won 2nd Place All Other Honda. Special thanks goes out to Brandon who showed with us and took home 1st Place Honda. We are glad that DropJaw came back to Virginia Motorsports Park and hope they will continue to do so. Brett - 08/17/2010 - Car Show - Import Face-Off 2010
Team Absolute attended the Import Face-Off Car Show at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia on Sunday, August 15th . This is the first car show Team Absolute has attended on the Import Face-Off tour. Team Absolute took home the "Best Club Representation" trophy and $200 cash. Congrats goes out to Dan who took home Best Nissan 2nd place and Steve who took home Best Honda 2nd place. We were very pleased with how this event was put together. Brett - 08/13/2010 - Car Show - 10th Annual Horse Benefit 2010
Team Absolute attended the Free Spirit Equine Rescue Shelter's 10th Horse Benefit Car Show on Saturday, July 31st. This is the first car show Team Absolute ever attended back in 2002. We try to bring as many members out as possible each year to support it's cause. We brought home a few trophies from the show including "Best Club Particiapation". Dan and I took home "Top 50" trophies. Lee received "People's Choice". You will find pictures from the car show in our 'Car Show Gallery' section.
Brett - 06/10/2010 - Car Show - The Big Show 2010
Team Absolute attended the 8th Annual Big Show in Rockingham, NC over the weekend. All the members that attended brought home trophies from the show. I brought home 1st place in Eclipse Mild, Dan brought home 1st place in Nissan Mild, Billy brought home 1st place in 95 Civic and Down Mild, and Seamus brought home 2nd place in Mitsubishi Mild. Team Absolute attended the 17th Annual Slamsession Car Show presented by Animated Attractions in Greenville, NC on April 24th and 25th. This was the second consecutive year that we went to this show and we will be back again next year! Despite the wind and the constant threat of rain, the turnout was great. Team Absolute attended the 5th Annual Spring Showdown Car Show hosted by Diversified Ridez and East Coast Dynasty in Buena Vista, VA on Saturday. We participated in the club games which included; tug of war, head unit toss, tricycle race, milk chug, and hot dog eating contest. I am proud to announce even though we fell short from winning the Spring Showdown 2010 Best Club Participation Award, we did end up winning the biggest club game of them all... Tug of War! I would also like to take this time to send out a special thanks to Shane (Steve's Brother) and Lee (New TA Recruit) for coming out and supporting the club. In the car show scene, Dan placed 2nd in Nissan, Deana placed 1st in Ford, Seamus placed 3rd in Mitsubishi, and Lee placed 2nd in Mitsubishi. Absolute is back for its 8th consecutive year! Our first car club meeting of the 2010 Season will be on Saturday, February 6th at 8PM. Team Absolute has big plans this year. We hope to complete our online store by the end of the first quarter. This will allow for car enthusiasts all over to take advantage of our club discounts. Brett - 04/27/2009 - Car Show Coverage - Slamsession 2009
Team Absolute attended the 16th Annual Slamsession in Greenville, NC on April 25th and 26th. Slamsession is known as the "The East Coasts Largest Club Run Show". It's hosted by Animated Attractions car and truck club who just celebrated their 20th Anniversary.
We took home several trophies at the show. I took home 3rd Place Eclipse Mild. Billy took
home 3rd place Civic 95 and down Mild. Davion took home 3rd Place Mitsubishi Mild. Seamus (prospect) competed in the bass off taking home 1st place in his class. The show was very organized and the club games contest raised the bar. Team Absolute competed in the tug of war, egg toss, amp toss, and dodge ball contests. We didn't end up winning any of these events however we had a great time competing in them. We will
