Brett - 05/03/2012 - Car Show - Slamsession 2012

Team Absolute attended the 19th Annual Slamsession by Animated Attractions this past weekend in Greenville, NC. Check out the Car Show Galleries section to view 150+ pictures from the show. We took home the following trophies: Brett 1st Place Eclipse, Billy 1st Place 96 Honda and down, Lee 2nd Place Mitsubishi, Frank 1st Place Camaro/Firebird. Paul 1st Place Toyota, Mike 1st Place Fullsize Domestic. In other contests we took home the following: Neon/LED contest - Frank 1st Place and Matthew 2nd Place. Hangover Games - Frank and Paul 1st Place Egg Toss. Team Absolute placed 2nd in Tug-o-war. Thanks to all the members who came out to support the team.

I would also like to take this time to welcome our newest member Chris with his Scion TC and congrats goes out to Frank who is now a Senior Member.

Brett - 04/06/2012 - Car Show - Spring Showdown 2012

Team Absolute attended the 7th Annual Spring Showdown this past weekend in Buena Vista, VA. We have been competing at this car show since 2007. Diversified Ridez and East Coast Dynasty do a great job organizing this event and we hope that it gets bigger each year. The club games were great as usual; we got to compete in club participation games scheduled throughout the weekend. For the 3rd year in a row, TA dominated the Tug-O-War contest. We also won the amp toss and the hot dog eating contest. Unfortunately, we just narrowly missed winning Best Club for the second year in a row, since we were tied for first with points, it was decided that the club who had the most participating members should win Best Club. We will definitely be bringing that back home with us next year! Thanks to all the members and prospects that came out to support us.

May 19, 2012 - Car Show - Crossroads Ford Car Show
4500 Whitehill Blvd Prince George, VA 23875. Free to show. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy and they will all be people's choice. There are tons of inflatable games, a dunk tank, fast pitch, free lunch, free snow cones and cotton candy funnel cakes. More information coming soon.

Located at 5501 Midlothian Turnpike Richmond, VA 23224. 10 AM until 4 PM. This show is open to all car and motorcycle classes, and is a judged show with custom trophies and $10,000 in cash and prizes to be given away. Admission is free for spectators.
